AMAC Exclusive – By Seamus Brennan

court

Following oral arguments in last week’s landmark Supreme Court case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, Democrats and the left-wing media appear to have dispensed with the last remnants of pretense that they have any qualms over abortion or concern for the lives of unborn babies.

The Dobbs case has been widely heralded as the most significant challenge to abortion law precedent in decades. During oral arguments, five of the nine Supreme Court justices signaled they may be prepared to revisit the precedents of Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey—the Supreme Court decisions that have cumulatively recognized and upheld expansive rights to abortion in the United States for nearly half a century. The left’s vitriolic reaction to the December 1st oral arguments demonstrates the extent to which progressives hold abortion as an inviolable cornerstone of their political identity and platform.

Not too long ago, Democrats’ stance on abortion by and large adhered to the guideline championed by former President Bill Clinton in the 1990s of making abortion “safe, legal, and rare.”

The “rare” part has long since been dispensed with. The 2020 Democratic National Committee platform noticeably omitted “rare” when it called for “safe and legal abortion,” which it deems to be “vital to the empowerment of women and girls.”

In the immediate aftermath of the Dobbs arguments, Democrats and progressive activists took it one step further, suggesting that abortion should not just be legal, but essentially encouraged. Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-MO), for example, took to Twitter to say that mere “legal” abortion is not enough: “I want a world where I’m not harassed when I got my abortion. Where I’m not shamed. Where I’m not considered lucky to be able to get one,” she wrote.

The extreme language didn’t stop there. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) echoed others in his party who celebrate abortion as “a fundamental right,” going as far as to claim that abortion is “essential.” Schumer’s colleague, Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) warned the justices on the High Court that a “revolution” will take place should they fail to preserve Roe and Casey. Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) asserted that the United States is “not even in a democracy” if women can’t have abortions.

Perhaps most disturbingly, outside the Supreme Court as the arguments were taking place, several pro-abortion protesters gleefully swallowed abortion pills while proudly displaying a banner that read, “We are taking abortion pills forever.” As Rich Lowry, editor of National Review, correctly observed, the “old line” that “abortion should be safe, legal, and rare” has quickly developed into the “new line” that “abortion should be safe, legal, and celebrated in verse and song.” Such actions seemed to virtually glamorize abortion as a sort of right of passage for women, reminiscent of actress Lena Dunham’s 2016 statement that “I still haven’t had an abortion, but I wish I had.”

The left’s campaign to justify abortion as “fundamental” and “constitutional” has always rested on hollow legal and scientific foundations. Pro-abortion legal scholar and dean of Stanford Law School, John Hart Ely, has written that Roe “was not constitutional law and gave almost no appearance of an obligation to try to be”—a sentiment echoed by liberal constitutional scholar Laurence Tribe, who asserted that “behind [Roe’s] own verbal smokescreen, the substantive judgment on which it rests is nowhere to be found.” Even Edward Lazarus, a former law clerk to the justice who authored the Roe opinion, Harry Blackmun, conceded that no one has “produced a convincing defense of Roe on its own terms.”

Democrats’ pro-abortion extremism also betrays their purported “pro-science” worldview, as they perpetually turn a blind eye to emerging mountains of research and ever-improving technology about the life of the child in the womb.

Despite the left’s doomsday rhetoric last week, if the Court ultimately decides to overrule Roe and Casey next June, it would not only override decades’ worth of precedent and reverse two of the most constitutionally suspect decisions in the Court’s history, but it would also take a long-overdue step in protecting human life at its most innocent and defenseless stage.

What is difference in when a man shoots a woman and kills the baby and the doctor doing it, it is still murder

After reading most of these comments, I find two points that seem to stand out. First, the individual using the name CND FOX is not going to change his/her opinion regarding abortion regardless of what arguments or comments are offered by others. Secondly, I regard abortion as murder and those who participate in it as murderers. CND FOX will obviously disagree and claim all those who do not agree with her are ignorant people (not so, I have a masters degree) and it is simply a matter of choice – a choice that all females have a right to make for themselves. Frankly, I am unaware of any females in America being denied the right to make that choice. Even if abortion were completely outlawed in this county, those who wanted one would find a way to do so. Just like booze during Prohibition. The wealthy would continue to pay for it and the poor would be forced to use the services of the abortion quakes. The only way to ensure that the poor would have access to abortions therefore is for the government to pay for this so-called choice with our tax payer’s money. Well, if as CND FOX maintains females have a right to choose to have an abortion, then I as an American tax payer have a right to determine or choose how my taxes are used. I choose not to have my tax money used to fund abortions. Freedom of choice works for all or for none!

60+ million abortions the PC word for murder since Roe vs. Wade in “73. Amazing how a Government can legalize murder as a womans right when God is left out of the discussion. Not all 60+ million placed the mothers life in jeopardy!!

The Democratic party has proven beyond all doubt that they are the extremists when it comes to abortion. They only care if its legal at all stages of pregnancy (including two seconds before the baby is born). They don’t care if’s rare or safe. Where were they when the only disgusting story of “Doctor” Kermit Gosnell was exposed? I didn’t see or hear them expressing when Gosnell was exposed as a murderer. This proves they the democrats only care that abortion remain legal.

There is the possibility that some of the loud voices and bitterness about the limiting and eliminating of abortion comes from women who have aborted babies. They don’t want to face guilt as public awareness chips away at future abortion. To react any other way would be an admission of having permitted one’s own baby to be murdered.

“Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) warned the justices on the High Court that a “revolution” will take place should they fail to preserve Roe and Casey.”

Will this statement warrant sanctions & removal from committee posts? Will Ms Shaheen be accused of inciting violence? She’s a Democrat, so likely none of those repercussions will occur, just as nothing was done about Maxine Waters basically calling for people to get “in the face” of Trump WH employees letting them know they’re not welcome, and calling for Trump’s impeachment the minute he took office years ago. Dems had control of Congress at that time as well

The eugenicist Barbara Sanger must be smiling with the DSC (Democrat Socialist Communist) Party as they continue to push for the destruction of the unborn.

Had those in favor of abortion been aborted themselves, this discussion would very likely be non-existent. Instead, their mothers, and even fathers, chose life.

After a dog bites a person and does real injury, there is no doubt about what his future should be (not). Murdering babies because if born he/she would be an inconvenience should disturb/disrupt even more. People must become sold on abortion just because the idea has been promoted so often and for so long. The conscience that is not pained by this must be damaged or gone.

Simply overturning Roe will not end abortion in America. 26 states had already legalized it before Roe. A small group of people support abortion actually. Most people are tricked into not wanting to limit someone else’s rights in case their rates are limited. Anyway, overturning role will only put the issue back and state courts where it belongs.

I would ask, what is the chance that a baby would make it to full term if the abortion was not allowed. I would say with current medical technology it would be 99.9%, at least. So abortion is taking a human life most of the time. I think we should allow them their abortion pill. That way we have to put up with fewer liberals!

A Landmark Case!

During the 1960s, a husband and wife in the Flagstaff, Arizona area were very abusive to their children. The couple appeared before Judge Coker who gave the couple two choices: Spend a lengthly period of time in prison or under surgery for sterilization which both had chosen!

Since the abortionist wish to continue being irresponsible, perhaps this maybe a solution: Sterilization! Since these people do not respect the Lord’s gift of having children, than it is best when they do not have any at all to abort!

It causes me great shame to know that I was responsible for two different women, one multiple times, having abortions. To say that I was a young man, intent of having sex, unprotected, of course, using every trick that young men have come up with, except for rape, just for my own gratification! When I was young, anything goes, be it coercion, or flat out lying, was ok. Then, I started having babies with my wife, and, eventually, found my way to God. Oh, if only I could go back in time, and somehow convince my younger self that it was NOT right! such are the recriminations of the “Saved and Forgiven”, because while you are forgiven, nothing says anything about forgetting…

Abortion seems fairly well destined to return to the state legislatures, where politicians on both sides will be forced to finally take a stand on the issue. There are no penumbras of privacy in the U.S. Constitution. Nor angels dancing on the heads of pins. It was always a pleasant fiction introduced by Blackmun as an appeasement to leftists who proposed a false choice between tearing babies apart versus tearing the country apart. Now, they’re back at it again, wailing and gnashing their teeth over the inhumanity of limiting the murder of innocents. The real losers here aren’t American women. Because abortion will not end with the Casey decision. It will merely place reasonable restrictions on abortion. The kinds of restrictions that should always have been present. The kinds of restrictions that leftists would have been wise to adopt long ago, rather than forcing a new and uncertain hand to be dealt to them. No, the real losers here are the abortion industry, itself, which will be forced to slug it out in dozens of state courts, as legislatures adopt these restrictions. They only have themselves to blame. If they weren’t so keenly focused on killing babies up until they take their first breaths, and laying the groundwork for future markets in infant body parts (which is where we all know they want to go), perhaps their pro-life opponents wouldn’t have fought quite so hard for justice.

The Democrats in general are positivists, check the definition while thinking about their attitudes toward the Constitution, religion, and abortion in comparison to the average man on the street thinks. those of the rabid left are positivists to the extreme and perhaps do not actually what they believe in or what their reality or real aim is and the catastrophe that what they want will lead to.

The Sixties radicals are dying off, while at the same time their voices are growing shriller and more severe. While many on the right are (justifiably) concerned about the course the country is taking, I prefer to be more optimistic and see the “progressives” going down in flames. The Left is dying. The only question is how much more damage they will do before they disappear.

We conservatives will be here to pick up the pieces.

Is the DNA of an embryo in the womb of a woman human DNA? Then it is a human. Allowed to develop, does an embryo ever become anything other than a human? Then it is a human. If you abort it, you are killing a human.

I really believe that these radical Pro Abortion women are in the minority. They are loud and hateful and of course the lame stream media loves them so they are on the news all the time. I really would say that at least 75% or more women would keep their babies if abortion weren’t so easy. We have birth control that works so they just should use that. I hope the Supreme Court rules in favor of life and not murder because any rational, sane person knows that it’s a living human being in the mother’ womb just waiting to grow and be born. Let the one’s who can’t live without an abortion go to another country to have one if they must. I pray for the Supreme Court judges to rule by the Constitution where there is nothing about abortion.

The lefttards think abortion should be encouraged??? If that isn’t a political stance for Communism, I am not sure what is. The Commies don’t want any distraction that takes away from the subjugated population and interferes with the commanded laws of the ruling class of the Commune. I’ve said it before … Communism wants to RULE the people, not GOVERN the people The Democrap Party wants to RULE the people, not Govern the people.

Between 1933 and 1945 the German government murdered between 6 and 7 million Jews, Slavs, gypsies, homosexuals, and disabled people. The War Crimes trials and the United Nations declared that genocide was bad and many Germans were justifiably hanged. As of Janurary 2021, 62,502,904babies have been murdered in the United States since 1973. Worldwide, more than 1.6 BILLION babies have been murdered since 1980. How did we get from “genocide is bad” to “genocide is a fundamental right?” Perhaps the depraved abortionists would begin to understand the depths of their evilness if they were subject to the same crimes they commit — scissors through the skull, dismemberment, organ harvesting, and saline injections. Because abortion promoters and providers have no regard for human life, they cannot have a valid opinion on ANYTHING else. They should be excluded from public office and punished for the atrocities they commit.

In my opinion it seems the argument for abortion is centered around a woman’s right to autonomy over her own body. Fine, either choose to get your tubes tied or choose to abstain from sex.
When choosing to abort a fetus, that means an unborn child for all you libbies out there, you ARE NOT choosing autonomy over your own body anymore, you are choosing to end the life of a human, as yet unborn, being.
Good luck when that gets Judged.
And have a wonderful day.

Logically, almost no one disagrees with a “woman’s right to choose” whether or not to bear a child. The only real question in dispute is the issue of WHEN she must make her choice. “Pro-life folks say she should do so before engaging in sexual contact, and that waiting until she discovers she is PG is irresponsible sexual behavior that’s not acceptable. “Pro-choice” people say irresponsible sex is fine, and the woman can make her choice up until the time of birth. The cheap, easy availability of effective birth control today is an argument for the former position.
