1828 with 8 letter, feeling dumb
I have no idea what my time was, as I forgot to click on “check puzzle” when I finished. After that, I read all the comments and then noticed my time was still running @9:04. I used 4 letter hints, 3 on second word and 1 on fourth word. Also, although I used the R in the final word, it didn’t get crossed out in it’s jumbled form.
Worked in the city’s public library in high school and college. Actually typed up the cards for the card catalog and put them in the correct drawers, put books away and occasionally worked the check out desk. Loved that job. Finished quiz in 0:56.

This one was a bit tough, had to reveal the first two letters for citation. My time was 501. Card catalog was my first phrase solved, then came biography and fiction.
